We all want satisfying and fulfilling relationships in our lives with partners, children, parents, friends and family.  Sometimes we struggle with developing those relationships and feel lonely and disengaged with the world.  This often results when we repeat emotional and behavioral patterns learned earlier in life.  In therapy, I will listen empathetically and non-judgmentally  and together we can work to change these patterns.  As your therapist, I will work with you to help you gain skills, insights and beliefs that will empower you to make changes and enable you to live a life of joy  and connection with others.

Some of the concerns I can help you with are:

•I am stuck in a going nowhere relationship.  I want to be happier and have a more loving relationship.

•I recently lost a parent/child/spouse, and am still feeling overwhelmed and sad.  How long will this go on?

•I feel my teen is too focused on their weight.  I want them to be healthy and confident.  How can I help them feel more self confident?

•I am so frustrated with my kids and feel like I am always yelling.  How can I be a better parent and have a better relationship with my kids?

•I have suffered trauma and abuse as a child and it is holding me back from positive relationships. What can I do?

•I am so depressed I can't get out of bed- how can I go on?  I am so sad and can't stop crying, what do I do?

1. •My husband and I are divorcing.  We still argue and I am worried about how it will affect the kids.  The  kids seem so confused.
