I believe everyone has the answers within themselves, and I believe that it’s my job to simply ask the right questions to get you going along your path. The healing then takes place on the path along your journey of self awareness. Below are some self reflective questions I have assisted people with along their path: I am not myself. I feel disconnected. I want to explore why I’m not connecting in meaningful ways to my loved ones. I am a woman who just turned 50 years old and I am noticing so many changes...is this normal? Am I normal? I am newly sober. I attend AA and have so many questions about the program. Can you help me? The food calls me...I overeat, I under eat, I over exercise. Why am I doing this? I have teenagers in the house and feel as if I am going crazy...how can I cope better? I am a woman who never trusted women; this is causing me pain in my life today...what am I doing wrong? I am so depressed; I can barely get out of bed. I can’t stop crying. What should I do? As a member of 12-step recovery programs for over 30 years, a woman and a mother, I have personal experience in these areas, which adds depth to my training and professional experience. In addition to offering traditional therapy in an office setting, I also offer THERAPY ON THE BEACH, for those that would like to walk and talk or simply sit in the presence of the ocean, we can conduct your session on the sand. Feeling grounded and centered within yourself...what better place to do this then on the beach. Living in So Cal, we are fortunate to live so close to the coast…we can arrange sessions on the beach in Huntington Beach in the early morning hours when its most peaceful.
